Traffic Poles
The design of poles is carried out using computer software to analyze the pole shaft, cantilever arm, base plate, and anchor bolts. All materials used to fabricate the pole components will be in accordance with international standards and project specifications. The anchor bolts, including nuts and washers, are hot dip galvanized. Traffic signals are attached to the cantilever arms at specified locations based on the road layout.
Overhead Poles
It consists of a vertical mast and a cantilever arm whose length varies from 6m to 8m, depending on the road design and traffic requirements. The mast is 6m high, and the tapered arm has a tilt in the first section and is horizontal and tapered in the second section. It can carry at least 3 signal heads and a countdown timer.
The mast comes in either hexagonal or round shapes and has a final finish of either Golden Yellow, as in SP0H-001, or can be Galvanized only, as in SPOH-002.
Standard Poles
The standard poles are 3,300 mm high, tubular or square pipes with an outside diameter of 114 mm and a thickness of 2 mm or 4.6 mm of mild steel. All the cable terminations are made at the top using the pole top terminal box. The pole sits on a foundation frame made of 8 mm thick flat bars, using M8 bolts and nuts, with a square or round flange.
